LUFT Rooftop Packaged Unit
Luftsis developed the VRF-based ROOFTOP rooftop packaged air conditioner for the first time in Turkey and in the world.
Rooftops have been used extensively for many years in the air conditioning projects of American origin in the air conditioning of large areas by connecting only one electricity and air duct. It also has a serious market in Turkey. These products were imported. However, in recent years, domestic manufacturers have started to produce these devices. One of these companies is Luftsis. We recently launched a new version of the package type air conditioners called rooftop. We produced these devices by integrating VRF outdoor unit instead of making them like similar products as standard. It is currently produced by Luftsis, the first and only in Turkey and in the world.
The new product also has an extensive list of options and accessories. Plug or EC blowing and return fans, economizer, heat recovery battery, Roofcurb are just some of them. In addition, the devices are optionally offered with BLYGOLD anti-corrosion and energy efficiency-enhancing coatings. For this reason, 2 years for the unit, 5 years for the compressors, and 5 years for the total product are guaranteed.
To make an analogy; Many companies in the world produce automobiles. Some are offered to the market with gasoline and some diesel engines. But one day, electric motor vehicles hit the market. It actually looks like this when we do it. In other words, we used an electric motor for the first time instead of the standard known motor. Instead of manufacturing the main cooling section in rooftop air conditioners used worldwide with standard engineering methods, we placed the condensing section of a VRF outdoor unit, which has completed its technological development and brought it to the highest level, inside the rooftop and made mechanical, electrical - automation integration. We have produced a new generation device. We named it V-ROOFTOP because it is based on VRF.
In short; We combined two different top technologies in a single structure. We have brought new technologies such as the ability to operate at lower outside temperatures and in a desert climate, to control the capacity proportionally, to be quieter and to be able to adjust evaporation temperatures, and to produce steam injection compressors, to V-Rooftop. For this, we carried out an R&D study of approximately 1.5 years within the company. Thus, we have realized the technological difficulties of making a rooftop device and the tests and controls that must be done in the factory before it goes on sale, over a long period of time. Making a product is one thing; Testing and integration on the mechanical, electrical and automation side of the market is another matter. Because we observe that most companies see their customers as R&D centers in similar new technological applications. The products are on sale, but the problems that arise in the field harm both the brand and product reliability. That's why when many international companies come up with a new technology; first it does its own tests, then it does its medium and long-term tests. Following these, it sells for at least 1 year in its own country. It observes the feedbacks, service deficiencies and failure rates and starts international sales by making improvements in these areas. For this reason, we have extended the development process of our new product to 1.5 years. We have received and continue to receive orders from various countries of the world.
